Christmas J O K E S

What do monkeys sing at Christmas?
Jungle Bells, Jungle bells...!

What do you get if you cross an
apple with a Christmas tree ?
A pineapple!

What does Father Christmas suffer
from if he gets stuck in a chimney ?
Santa Claustrophobia!

What do reindeer hang on their
Christmas trees?
"Horn"-aments!

Which of Santa's reindeer
has bad manners?
"Rude"-olph!

LAST CHRISTMAS, by Hilary Duff

"Last Christmas" Lyrics

[Chorus:]
Last Christmas
I gave you my heart
But the very next day, you gave it away
This year
To save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special

Once bitten and twice shy
I keep my distance
But you still catch my eye
Tell me baby
Do you recognize me?
Well
It's been a year
It doesn't surprise me
(whispered) Merry Christmas,
I wrapped it up and sent it
With a note saying "I love you"
and meant it
Now I know what a fool I've been
But if you kissed me now
I know you'd fool me again

[Chorus x2]

A crowded room
Friends with tired eyes
I'm hiding from you
And your soul of ice
Oh my I thought you were
Someone to rely on
Me?
I guess I was a shoulder to cry on
A friend to discover with a fire in her heart
A girl under cover but you tore me apart
You tore me apart, ooo-ooo
Now I've found a real love you'll never fool me again

[Chorus x2]

A friend to discover with a fire in her heart
A girl under cover but you tore me apart
[Spoken] Maybe next year,
I'll give it to someone
I'll give it to someone special.

N E W Y O R K

New York is one of the cities I would like to visit in the future, because of its shopping centers and its diversity.

It's situated in North America. It has enormous and high buildings, with long streets through them. There is a lot of traffic, so the air seems to be polluted. It's a very noisy city, and it's also dirty. There live lots of people, all of them borned (or not) in different places, with so many religions and different cultures. I think people who live there are dishonest and they are against justice. I'm not saying that all the American people are like that, but I've seen lots of films from there and that's the opinion the taught me. There are poor and rich people too. Depending on the place or area, it smells good and a little bit less polluted than in the streets or incredibly bad because of the rubbish.

There you can visit lots of things, like its famous and long bridge, the Liberty Statue, all the casinos, clubs and shops... There are also museums, parks and art galleries.

Well, I think that if you go to New York you won't keep a bad memory from there.

V A M P I R E ACADEMY.- by Richelle Mead

Yaiza: Did you read the last book I recommended you?
Olga: Which book? Vampire Academy?
Yaiza: Yes, this book.
Olga: Oh, yes! I love it!
Yaiza: What part of the book did you like most?
Olga: When they had sex. Did you like it too?
Yaiza: Yes, I did. But I liked more when they were training, because you could feel the love attraction between them.
Olga: Oh, yes, I liked it too. Let's wait for the last book of the saga!
Yaiza: Let's do it!

C A L A F E L L · {Description'of'a'place}

Calafell is a coast city near Tarragona. It's special for me because I've been there every summer and almost all the weekends since I was born. It's not the most beautiful city with the most incredible beach, but I like it because I keep lots of good memories from there.

Calafell is in the south-east of Catalonia, near Tarragona city. People usually go there in summer, because it's a hot and comfortable place in this season. There are a few number of people that live there all the year. When you're walking through its streets, you can feel tranquillity, silence and you're able to smell the sea, even if you're three hundred meters from it. You can only hear noise or feel the active and vibrant part of the city if you're in the seafront, on the beach, in the “Village”, the way we call the group of commercial streets, or in the harbour. I love these two different parts of the city.

Calafell is a city with a historical past: there you can find and visit a castle, built in the XI century, and you can find and visit too a part of a Roman city. Nowadays we can only see its remains. There are lots of streets full of shops and hotels where you can buy or stay, and it's situated next to the seafront. You can have fun in the harbour too, where you can meet friends, play any sport you want, angle with your ship, have dinner in the restaurants or buy clothes, ships or fishing tackles.

Well, now you know more about this fabulous city. What are you waiting to come?

Yaiza: Hey! Did you like the last song I showed you?
Olga: Ehm... The new Linkin Park's song? Yes, I love it!
Yaiza: Me too! I think it's their best song.
Olga: Did you watch True Blood last night?
Yaiza: No, I didn't. I was tired, so I went to sleep early.
Olga: Oh, then watch it and we'll comment on it later.
Yaiza: Ok! See you!
Olga: Bye!
